Volvo Cars calls 219 000 cars back to the workshops.

Investigations have shown that there is a problem with the fuel line, which could cause cracks, said the Swedish car maker.

As a result, fuel can reach the engine compartment over a longer period of time. Affected in several countries were different vehicles of the model years 2015 and 2016.

The recall was a mere precautionary measure. Incidents are not known yet.
